The Cavalry is on the Way. (Okay, it is really just the Airborne)
In this Turkish Press story it is reported that the Secretary of Defense Don Rumsfeld, has added 2 battalions of the 82nd Airborne Division were being deployed for a 120 day period to Iraq. This will add a whopping 1,500 troops to the 138,000 already there. These troops are to bolster the troop levels to help increase security for the up-coming October elections. In a land mass roughtly the size of California, with hostile forces hiding everywhere with the civilians, is 1,500 additional bodies going to make a hugh difference, I DON'T THINK SO.

You mean cavalry. I don't Rumsfeld is sending a crucifix to try to improve the situation. Although left to his own devices that's something W might do.
oopps. This will be quickly corrected. You know, spelling sometimes just gets in the way of reality. : )
Now to respond, since the problem is resolved.
I agree, actually the more I think about it, if Rumsfeld sent in 1,500 crucifixes instead of 1,500 soldier it might make more of a difference. And if nothing else it will just help piss off more Iraqi's and other Muslims/Arabs who probably wouldn't get the joke.
